Cutting Edge Water Jet Service of South Beloit, Illinois successfully waterjet cut a large piece of steel measuring 19.5” thick. Many waterjet cutting services will only attempt to process steels ranging from 6”–8” on the high end. As impressive as this is for thick steels, Cutting Edge can also similarly process foil materials as thin as .001” thick.
